EQUAL FRAMES PROJECT

fandom-wide art collaboration to celebrate j-hope’s return

ARMYS! Hobi is coming back soon!
And so are we, with a new and exciting project to welcome him back!

Our fandom is full of creativity and art, so let's come together to prepare a gift for Hobi's return! We will recreate the clip of j-hope’s performance of Equal Sign at Lollapalooza together!
Every participant will receive a frame to redraw/recreate in some way in their own style and our team will put them all together at the end to create one video!
You don't have to be an experienced artist to participate – we hope everyone can join us without worrying about their skill level! All techniques are welcome: from traditional art, through digital, to embroidery, sewing, puppets and anything else you can think of. You can go wild with the colors, make your frame exciting!Let's once again show Hobi that his music brings people together! Read the details below and sign up now.

Anyone can participate!

Please fill out our sign-up form if you’d like to be part of this project. The forms will be open until August 18.

You will receive your frame after the forms close. The exact deadline will be announced later but you will get around a month to finish your frame. Please note that we won’t recreate every single frame to reduce the eye strain (it will still contain flashing images, so proceed with caution). If you're up for recreating more than one frame, let us know in the form! We’ll also need pinch-hitters, so if you’d like to help us out at shorter notice in case a participant has to withdraw, please let us know in the form as well!If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via email ([email protected]), on X or Instagram.Let’s show Hobi that his art inspires art!

sign up

Let us know if you'd be willing to draw more than one frame
and/or if you'd like to help us out as a pinch hitter!

frame requirements

• Keep the 16:9 aspect ratio and a reasonably high DPI
• Use any medium/technique you want to, go wild!
• Keep the position and scale of people and the stage the same (mark the positions before you start working)
• Save your frame as JPG
• You can share sneak peeks of your work on social media! Please tag us and use the hashtag #EqualFramesProject

inspiration

If the project sounds familiar, that's because it was inspired by others before it! Other fandoms have done it before, and it worked beautifully each time, so let's do something similar! We took our inspiration from the Let There Be Frames project from the Good Omens fandom (link below). Our project will be similar, but keep in mind that it will have fewer frames per second, so every drawing will have more time to be noticed, and the eye strain will be reduced.

schedule

The video will be out on October 17!
You'll be able to watch it on our social media:
